Overcoming Resistance and Embracing Personal Happiness

Breaking Free from the Chains of Resistance to Discover Personal Fulfillment

Dear Readers,

It's been a while since our last update, but rest assured, I've been doing some soul-searching and reevaluating certain aspects of my life. What I've discovered is a common theme among many of us—an innate resistance towards pursuing our own happiness. Today, I want to delve into this resistance and explore why it exists within us.

Recently, it dawned on me that I harbored significant resistance towards various aspects of my life. In particular, I found myself resistant to the work I was doing for my business. This work required extra effort, didn't yield immediate financial rewards, but would ultimately pave the way for greater happiness and financial independence. Strangely enough, the fear of failure can be just as debilitating as the fear of success. Thoughts like "Why bother?" or "Maybe I should settle for a conventional job" plagued me day in and day out.

However, a turning point arrived when I received a tempting job offer—a wake-up call that snapped me out of my complacency. The notion of surrendering my freedom for a regular job struck a chord deep within me and propelled me into action. Suddenly, I found myself tackling the tasks I had long procrastinated. I even enlisted the help of a virtual assistant to manage my administrative work, freeing up precious time to engage with the AI tools I adore.

But why do we resist pursuing our own happiness? This question has weighed heavily on my mind. Perhaps it's the fear of the unknown, the uncertainty that accompanies venturing into uncharted territories. It's also possible that societal expectations and ingrained norms play a role, discouraging us from taking unconventional paths. Regardless of the reasons, it's crucial to acknowledge this resistance and find ways to overcome it.

Embracing personal happiness requires a shift in perspective and a reevaluation of our priorities. We must realize that investing in ourselves, even when the rewards may not be immediate or monetary, holds immeasurable value. It's about honoring our passions, pursuing our dreams, and carving out a path that aligns with our authentic selves.

Let us challenge ourselves to dismantle the barriers that prevent us from embracing happiness. Together, we can support each other on this journey of self-discovery and growth. Share your stories, your triumphs, and your struggles. By fostering a community that values personal fulfillment, we can inspire and uplift one another.

In the coming weeks, I'll be sharing practical tips, inspiring stories, and thought-provoking insights to help you navigate and conquer your own resistance. Stay tuned, as we embark on this transformative journey together.

Remember, your happiness matters, and investing in yourself is never a wasted endeavor. Let's break free from the chains of resistance and unlock the doors to our true potential.

Wishing you joy and fulfillment,

Jan

  • Readwise: I love reading and enjoy using a variety of devices, such as my Kindle, physical books, phone, and computer. Previously, I used Evernote to store my notes from books, but it was time-consuming to maintain and not very effective for reviewing the material. Readwise is a helpful tool that connects to my Kindle and automatically saves all of my highlights. Additionally, I can use a web clipper to save information from the internet. I receive regular emails with randomly selected highlights, which serve as helpful reminders of the key points from my reading. This helps me retain more knowledge and not quickly forget most of what I've read. Overall, Readwise has been a great resource for deepening my understanding of the material.

Dive Deeper with a Coaching

On my journey through the dark night of the soul I had many great teachers and mentors on my side. I spent thousands of Euros (and still do) on coachings and every cent was worth it. I don't think I would have been able to turn my life around so quickly without the help of these amazing people. The value you are receiving from working on removing emotional blocks, limiting beliefs and toxic thinking, can't be measured in money.

Most people only need 6 sessions in 3 months to generate dramatic outcomes in their lives. It's not like I teach them new things or have a bullet proof process. Quite the opposite is true. I believe that structure and process can help, but in most cases you're limiting life and all of its wonderful ways to create miracles for you. I am working on an intuitive level and combine all of my experience and knowledge from freeing myself.
